A simple, elegant, and versatile stool made completely out of solid wood. Its form is reminiscent of open umbel columns of Ancient Egypt. It has been designed and made using a combination of traditional woodworking methods and more advanced computational techniques. 

This low stool version is great for low-level seating. Its planar top allows it to serve a multitude of other functions such as an end table; side table; night-stand; step stool; or a pedestal for a lamp or vase.
